Looking to level up your English skills? You may want to speak more fluently, write stronger essays, or feel ready for university-level work. Whatever your reason may be, Dar Al-Hekma University has a place for you to do just that.

The Language Center delivers all the tools and support you need to master English, so that nothing holds you back from excelling at university and everywhere else. It sets you up to communicate clearly and confidently, so English becomes a bridge, and not a barrier, to your success.

What Is DAH’s Language Center?

The Language Center is where you come to develop your English skills and prepare for university life, strengthening your speaking, writing, reading, and grammar through active lessons and high-end learning tools.

You’ll also learn to study independently and connect with people from different backgrounds. The main goal is to help you feel assured and at ease using English in your classes, everyday conversations, and later in your career.

You’ll study with experienced instructors who specialize in teaching English to non-native speakers, with international certifications like CELTA, DELTA, and TESOL, as well as master’s degrees in teaching English as a second or foreign language.

Classes aren’t about memorizing long rules or doing countless worksheets. Instead, you’ll practice your English through conversations, group work, writing exercises, and digital tools like Quizlet and Google Docs.

And for current university students enrolled in different Dar Al-Hekma majors, there’s a dedicated course for your academic writing and communication skills known as the ENRM course.
